will we get a DVD Set

I am dissapointed that Amsterdam has been canceled. But I'm not enraged as I was at Jericho's cancelation. This is because New Amsterdam wasn't a serial with thousands of in depth plots, it was a simple story about John Amsterdam, an immortal guy. I can be completely satisfied with just one season of New Amsterdam as long as I can get it on DVD so I can relive it whenever I want. I like the series, and an other season would be good, but I'll be satisfied with this one season. It was nice watching New Amsterdam every week on T.V. Now I'd like to watch it whenever I want in my DVD player. Are there any plans to release New Amsterdam The Complete Series on DVD?

Not sure about the DVD box, but, as a good "Plan B", all episodes are available for sale/download on iTunes.

register for tvshowsondvd.com and vote for New Amsterdam... it ranks shows... I have heard it helps but I don't know if that is true..

There is a possibility New Amsterdam could be released on DVD. There are several other cancelled shows that have had DVD sets. Point Pleasant another great show cancelled by Fox was released on DVD even though only nine episodes aired and the set featured unaired episodes. Miracles cancelled by ABC was released on DVD even though only six episodes aired. There is a possibility for New Amsterdam to be on DVD.

I just wanted to bump this.

I would like to buy it on DVD.

I thought the show had so much potential but FOX just didn't market it right.

Sadly, the show just isn't popular enough for an official DVD release to be made. I really wish it were because I really would have liked to know where they would have gone in the future seasons since it seemed like he still hadn't found "The One" yet...

There is an Asian company that put out a DVD set that looks factory produced, and the picture quality is great.

However there are "HD" station ID tags in the corner of the frame. So they apparently got their "masters" by digitally recording HD broadcasts.

and of course if you're a 'rule breaker' Torrent is always an option
