the show hadn't been canceled and it hadn't been picked up

they were in a state of limbo (this was according to tj miller---and now i'm forgetting where i read this)

the eps that they are showing right now were part of the original order that abc asked for back at the beg. of the season (each new show at the beg. of a season gets asked to do 13 eps normally) so right now the eps that are airing are the ones from that original 13 ep order....they managed to shoot all 13 eps from the order before the strike happened which is not something many of the new shows were able to do.



sadly it doesn't look like abc is asking them for more eps...because now that the strike is over-the networks are looking at their shows and their schedulues and looking at what they want to continue with and what they want to scrap---they havn't asked for new eps of this show according to tvguide.com
and it wasn't one of the shows they announced as being renewed for next season.

so unless abc makes an announcement soon i think it might be done when these 13 eps are thru airing (they still have 3 left to go.)
