Does Nintendo think women are incapable of fighting?

Because I've played all three of them, and there are like 3 female characters in the entire series. I know it's called Super Smash BROS, but it would be really nice if they added more female characters in the game. Like, why didn't they make Lyn playable instead of making her into just an assist trophy? She looked pretty cool in my opinion. And maybe they should just add Krystal on there too!(I never played a Star Fox game before, but everybody seems to want her on there anyway, so whatever).
Another reason why I think Nintendo might think that women are incapable of fighting(not related to the game), is that in Majora's Mask, if you go to Romani Ranch to get your horse, Romani talks about how you should protect the cows from being abducted by aliens or whatever, and she says "Your a boy. Will you try?" Not sure why, but I think that sounded kinda weird.
