questions (spoilers)
how did mallory die? from a sprained ankle and then the shock of falling into a swamp?
also what are we supposed to assume the survivors no longer have the problem of being stuck in the middle of nowhere at the end
Mallory ultimately died from falling into the swamp. They knew the direction to the road Mr. Hunter was leading the cab driver to, so they headed that way and we assume they found their way back to society.
