i heard Eli Roth was directing a movie called The Box about a couple recive a box on their door step and everytime they open it a total stranger dies a mysterious death i don't know if thats this movie though

I saw the movie in Manhattan on Nov. 10 at a Queens Film Festival screening and loved it. This is definitely one of the times when the negative connotation of "straight to video" does not apply. THE BOX is an excellent first feature effort by director A.J. Kparr and has great performances by such actors as Gabrielle Union, Giancarlo Esposito, A.J. Buckley and Yul Vazquez.
It really deserves a theatrical release, but I'm glad it will be available in some capacity soon.
