Too Many Twists and Turns

I found this movie interesting for about the first half hour, but after that, I got pretty bored with all the different what-ifs. Just too confusing. Having said that, I found Gabrielle Union's performance to be excellent, and she is BEAUTIFUL to boot. I'd love to her in more lead characters in the future; she certainly has shown she can carry it off. Kudos to her; she was the best part of this whole film.

This gene pool could use a little chlorine.

I agree. In a very short while, the twists become more annoying and pointless than clever. It's like watching something written and directed by 10 year olds with ADD.

I agree as well had the making of a very good police drama/thriller but the twist seem like the filmaker wanted an exciting ending but went to far and ruin it.

Unfortunately The Box has the same problem as a lot of movies with young directors. Seems as if they're worried they'll never get another chance to make a movie so they try to cram in every idea they've been carrying around since they were a child. Just in case.

Unfortunately for A.J. Kparr, it looks like his fears came true. As of February 2017, he hasn't directed another movie or TV show episode as the primary director. At least according to IMDb. I didn't see any big problems with his work in The Box that more experience wouldn't smooth out.

Hopefully he'll get another big chance so he can take his time on the next one. He doesn't have to stuff 4 separate movies into one.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.
