Gay story lines...

Did this show deal with any gay story lines or was everything heterosexual? Thanks.

There were hints that the Thompson's son, Rick, might have been gay, but it was never resolved or even confirmed. Just speculation on the part of the viewers. If the series had gone a 2nd season, I'm sure it would have been revealed.

The man who was Janet's mentor at the newspaper told her that he had a date with "Mark, from Shipping."

In the first episode, Trina caressed Susan's hand while setting up the swinging action. Also, the episode began with a threesome that involved Tom, Trina & a stewardess that suggested everyone was involved. If I remember correctly, it was inferred in the pilot that Trina was bisexual (when she looked at the new neighbors through the window & Tom asked her which one she was interested in).

Also, Trina and Tom had a three-way with Trina's ex Luke. (Luke, by the way, was scrumptious.)

Not sure if you were implying that Tom and Luke were involved in a bisexual manner. I would say with 99.99% certainty that this would not be the case.

Typically, MFM threesomes involve two straight males and the female. The most common "arrangements" involve the males taking turns, or the woman enjoying one man orally and the other through intercourse. There are other possibilities that I won't go into here - let your imagination run wild if you wish.

Bottom line, while there are certainly some bisexual men in the lifestyle, they are pretty rare, and an MFM situation is far more likely to be straight males than gay or bisexual ones.
