2006 version is much better than 2002 version

imo, the 2006 version of kanon is much better on story than the 2002 version, because:

1. it is created by kyoto animation w/c they'd also created The Air before in 2005 w/c on that series it was the same people who created kanon.

2. on 2006 version, the number of episodes is 24 unlike the 2002 version w/c only contains 13 episodes and 1 OVA.

3. the 2006 version might get a license in North America soon but not the 2002 version.

agreed.... this series was able to make me (a guy) to cry. the story was very heartwarming and sad. i loved it soo much.

I haven't seen the 2002 version, but I'll have to get around to watching it.

I love this version though. :)

Personally, I'd love to see this anime released in the UK, along with quite a few others.

Since all we get is the crappy anime such as Digimon, Pokémon, Yu-gi-oh!, etc.
