Philip Seymour Hoffman would be perfect in the role of Luc.
Hopefully they change a bit, since a lot of the enjoyment of this film is the "whodunit" factor, and knowing the outcome changes so much of how engrossed you are in the story.
Why the need for yet another American re-make? This film is pretty near perfect; it doesn't need another version.
