Filming now in question?

The B92 news informed that the scenography, including invaluable furniture borrowed from museums and private collections, was destroyed during a fire, now creating a terrible financial trouble for Bajic's crew to complete the film. One day a filmmaker will make a film about early 2007 in Serbia, in which he will depict this exact scenario. Maybe Oleg Novkovic for another Oscar?

Boat on the Sava burns down

BELGRADE -- The Boat “Krajina”, anchored off the Sava bank in New Belgrade, burnt down this morning.

No one has been injured in the accident. The Police have been looking into the cause of the accident. It is believed that an electrical wiring failure set the boat ablaze.

Sava Radunović, manager of the company that owns the boat, says that the boat has been completely destroyed and the damage amounts to almost 1.5 million dollars.

The boat provided a setting for a Darko Bajić movie titled “On the Beautiful Blue Danube” that is currently being filmed.
