Or to be strictly accurate, it was a modern take on "Django the bastard", the Sergio Garrone film that Pale Rider (and High Planes Drifter) owe their existence to - not that any of these films (inc. Missionary Man) can be seen solely in that light - but the "avenging angel" Western starts here. Check it out.

Yes, with a dash of BILLY JACK and SHANE. But, I still enjoyed this movie. Actually, I am very pleased that these eighties styled B-movies are still be made.
