So Draco just watched while Bellatrix tortured Hermione?

I know it must have been hard for him to say something but wow.

Some people seem to think Draco became a decent human beings after being freed from the death-eaters, but I don't think so.

I think he's too small and afraid to be genuinely evil, but has no real goodness in him. The sort of person who wouldn't be brave enough to rescue a "mudblood", or cruel enough to join in the torture... just someone who'd allow it to happen and feel sorry for himself because he had to listen to the screams.

That's the most accurate description of Draco I've ever seen outside of JKR.

In Cursed Child he's a bit different but everyone's kind of out of character in that mess.

Draco wasnt evil but a conflicted one.

The kid had a change of heart when it came to killing. He thought he had it in him but he cared too much to become evil. And was too SCARED to tell his father and others that he didn't want to kill. That's all.
