Am I the only who thinks this movie SUCKSSSS?

I've just watched this Dance of the Dead, and I have to say I expected at least a decent movie but I can't recall having watched any worst movie in a long time,

Then you are probably one of those who have to have their yearly dose of Saw and remakes and that ilk. I will say, i enjoy that stuff as well, but my god I love high camp and this is high camp at its best. Dead and Breakfast, Dance of the Dead, Otis, all extremely great hor-coms. This movie rocks, but it's all a matter of preference.

Well, to answer your question, it looks like there are two of you!

no, Actually there are more then 250 (rated below the Median)

And you are welcome to your opinion whatever it may be. But the trolls here (are you one?) are identified as such. Thereby, their lack of an intelligent critique can and should be ignored.

As you will be. Far more, particularly the legitimate critics, like it than don't. Have a nice day.

Cool. I like being in an intelligent minority.

reply

Nah, it sucks. Watch Return of the Living Dead instead.

reply

I personally thought it was quite good. Humorous and gory.

And it's not by any stretch an indecent film. The fact that many people genuinely like it must make it at least enjoyable. Certainly, there will be some that don't appreciate it, but every movie will have its haters.

Instead of coming here to post your negative and nonconstructive opinions, why don't you head over to the forums of movies you like and post positive comments.

That would be make much more sense.

I'm sure the OP was expecting a Lapdance of the Dead. I really enjoy this little gem.

reply

I was expecting a competent zombie film, not a poor man's Return of the Living Dead.

reply

The film starts off strong, but the humor quickly dies down.

By the time the film was over, I though of all the other zombie films I could have streamed on Netflix instead of this garbage.

gsbr you pretty much sum it up with one of your idiotic posts, you are correct.. it is a poor mans Return Of The Living Dead.
You should learn to apppreciate films for what they are, and for a low budget film, this was very good.

Go watch your big budget Hollywood bull$hit.

So my posts are idiotic and I'm correct?

Sounds like a paradox to me.

I don't care about the budget. This film sucks, regardless of how much money was spent on it. Return of the Living Dead wasn't exactly a big budgeted film, just so you know.

I'd rather stick to watching good zombie films.

reply

I agree. This movie was awful. Maybe if it wasn't trying so hard to be funny/witty/campy... it just turned out to be awful. The jokes were outdated by a decade, and not funny; just not at all funny. The writer and director haven't done anything since. So despite this movie's exposure, nobody wants to give them another job because this was so bad.

reply

it's alright man. your not alone. this was as about as bad as a movie could get. i actually went online to have fun watching reviews of people talking about how much it sucked- and i as shocked. everyone thought it was the *beep* best. i feel like i done lost my damn mind. i'm sitting here listening to this kid go on and on about how great it is... and i'm thinking... is this really happening? how can you like a movie that just sucks so bad... theres no scientific explanation for this...

reply

This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Check out all the "good reviews". They are all by the same people who blatantly made this movie. They have lied and cheated us into purhasing the DVD.

reply

To summarize, YES.

Of course, you've got scratchin on your side, backing you up. That should be encouraging. Nothing to say about any movie, good or not. Everything sucks.

I hope your marriage is long and happy.

Seriously? You all are so easy to manipulate. It's posted for all the world on my Facebook page. Besides, you have nothing to say I want to hear. What are you going to do, threaten me? Tell me I'm a bad actor? Insult my dog? You're an idiot.

Don't worry, I got plenty of stuff to back me up. If you bother to respond, I'll bother to post it.

No, "Manos, the Hands of Fate" or "Wrestlemaniac" or "Dungeon Of Harrow" or "Bela Lugosi Meets A Brooklyn Gorilla" are as bad as movies can get.

This movie was at worst decent.

Maybe because it's unoriginal, makes zero sense, is filled with plot holes, and has inconsistent zombies?

reply

Nope, you are not alone. Got it off Netflix and seriously considered turning it off after a few minutes, but decided to stick it out. It didn't get better.
