“The Office” NOT

I really wanted to like this show but so far I can only say that I truly enjoyed two scenes of it so far. The “Mad Max Beyond Thunder Dome” parody was funny along with the “Grease” parody.

It seems like the creators of the show decided to take “The Office” and “Office Space” and rework them into this new series. It wants to have a “Scrubs” quality to it but its just not there. I’m sure that “I Hate My 30’s” doesn’t come close to the budget that “Scrubs” has, because if it did I’m sure they would have found some other actors who would have been better suited for the roles on it.

Unless the quality of the show progressed as they were taping the various upcoming episodes, then I doubt that there will be a second season and according to reviews, this show didn’t even break a million viewers in its premiere episode like some of VH1’s other programs.

Liam Sullivan as Kyle is one of the highlights of this show.

I think if “The Office” had a dash of “I Hate My 30’s” in it (the parody part) it would be a better show.

Unless the show shapes up, I will be forced to change my rating of it.
