The WIGS are much worse than anything else in this movie

Aztec Rex isn't even close to the worst movie I've ever seen. It's competently directed and acted with a ridiculous premise and what looks like zero budget. The CGI dinosaur IS pretty, um, startling in its cheapness - it looks like the dinosaurs in a computer game (an old computer game at that).

But those WIGS on the conquistadors!!!! Wow! I've seen cheap CGI in plenty of other movies but I don't believe I've EVER seen wigs that bad in any movie. They look like dynel Halloween costume wigs turned around the wrong way and not combed out or anything, with little pieces sticking out here and there. Ziering's is the worst but they're all terrible. Clumps of grass would have looked more convincing.

I will agree with you on a couple of the wigs, like Ian's and Marc's. But the ones that Will and I wore were actually very expensive "lace front" wigs that were made to look ratty so that we could appear as dirty and unkempt as possible compared to the "natives". Marco had hair extensions and the rest of the principal actors: Dichen, Allen, Kalani, James and Milan all used their own hair.

The wigs didn't bother me at all. I saw 'Aztec Rex' last night and had a blast.

As bizarre as the concept is, I actually that it was a fairer portrayal of the natives of Mexico than was Mel Gibson's 'Apocalypto'.
