Why I gave this movie a 10

holy smokes did anyone see Ayacoatl?! She has to be one of the hottest females I ever seen on the Sci-Fi pictures originals. And that his very difficult to say when she goes up against Holy Fields and Angel Boris.

My vote breakdown:

Ayacoatl: 9 star
Rex/Acting/Dialogue/: 1 star
total: 10 stars!

+1. According to IMDB she's going to be in the new Joss Whedon tv show.

reply

Your right. I couldn't take my eyes off her, lol. She has a different blend of ethnicity in her I can't put my finger on.

reply

SHE'S HOT!

reply

I believe it was Billy Madison that summed it up perfect for Ayacoatl, "Soooo Hot.... wanna touch the hiney" haha...

"I think we both know... that I loved you too." Alex, Isabel.

The shot in the preview of her dropping her robe got me convinced to watch the film.
And once I did.... Oh man, is she entrancing! What an exotic beauty! And what a nicely athletic body too! If anyone can get A PRINCESS OF MARS finally started, Dichen would make a suitable Dejah Thoris or Thuvia.
And she's going to be in DOLL HOUSE too? Happy happy joy joy!

reply

oh jeez she is so bloody hot. I really really hope her careers takes off from here. She acted very well also, but her looks astonishing! She ought to appear in a James Bond film to save the saga hahaha.

reply

Hahaha, I was thinking the same thing while watching it the other night. Aside from looks, I must say that she is a definitely a very good actress. She managed to capture my attention the entire time.

..a nip slip when she's on the temple towards the end when she jumps down on the warrior and cuts out his heart. I'm going to have to watch this again.

The movie is so goofy it's fun to watch but she makes it worthwhile.

reply

Does she have an Aussie accent in real life?

reply

Yep a slight nip slip! (well areola at least)

reply

Thanks! I thought maybe it was wishful thinking on my part. Now I know I'll have to record it the next time it's on.

Oh...wasn't the "temple" made of cardboard?? Hey, relax. Sure the special effects were cheap, the plot full of holes, the logic was nonexistant BUT it was fun to watch.

Ive seen better sets at a High School production! :) but yes it was watchable. Too bad we couldnt get some more money for CGI.

Acting was pretty good...

reply

regarding "...more money for CGI",
I have to imagine all of you have seen worse. Just think about the vintage Japanese monster movies like Godzilla and Mothra, and the like. While the SFX were passable in the CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON set of movies, wasn't there a very popular puppet character that needed to "phone home" in the movie E.T.? And you can certainly add the various "stop-action" Harryhausen movies like the SINBAD series and even the original KING KONG.

Not to belittle the TOTAL RECALL movies, both original and reboot starring Beckinsale and Biel, but the original had decent sets and pretty good SFX, but much of what was on screen in the reboot version was all CGI, and it (IMHO) actually detracted from the movie.
Just sayin'

Why you gave it a ten?

The producers obviously took your family hostage and threatened to kill them if you didn't.
