...once a movie has had a run on scify they never show it again? I have this feeling this movie won't be on ever again.

It probably depends on the specific movie, and related contracts...

This movie has been released on DVD in the Orient (not R1 or R0 (all region), and I have a copy, so I am certain), and that may be why it has not been on (now) SyFy in reruns. I have seen a similar type movie (also a SyFy original) titled HEAT WAVE that stars(?) Danica McKellar run occasionally over several years, but as best I have seen, it was not put on DVD anywhere.

So, it is not necessarily due to the quality of a movie, but the related contracts as well.
And you could be right that it won't be broadcast again...
