You know, it is really amazing the level of silence from our so-called news media on his majesty Obama's intentions to defund our space program. Quite remarkable. If a republican or a conservative had even SUGGESTED something like that our news media would literally have gone nuts!...to put it mildly. You would have had hordes of science fiction and futurist writers as well as numerous Hollywood celebrities getting behind the Democrats to damn the republican party to hell for even thinking about inhibiting american space exploration...but a black liberal democrat does it and it's no problem. Everything is fine. Even Neil Armstrong who almost never comes out of the woodwork had something to say about it. Obama plans to gut NASA and the silence continues to be deafening...or is it just me because I'm not a bootlicking Obama worshipper?

To put it simply, it can wait. He's doing what he can to control the rest of the economy which is spiraling out of control, while using what money he can to better the country, and also try to make peace between other countries on this planet that are fighting with eachother because of past leaderships.

We've got plenty of time to go out into space, give it some time for the money to come back and they can start it back up. There's nothing in particular that is going to benefit from NASA right now, and a short break won't hurt much.

Because of Obama we are having to hitch a ride with the Russians. Just watched "The Last Man on the Moon" with Gene Cernan, and recommend. Netflix
