Dominics gay?

sexual abuse. I was surprised to hear Dominic say he believes that he's gay because of that. He's so open to everyone around him about it in an environment where it seems like it wouldn't go down well AND everyone appears to respect and accept him.

I guess maybe he can be so open because he believes it was inflicted on him or something. Like it makes it clear that it's not his "fault" (in his own mind).

At any rate, I do feel the need to point out, in case anyone has doubt, that you don't turn gay or bi following rape or molestation. The statistics have been checked for it and no correlation was found (or in lay people's terms, there are plenty of people who go through rape or sexual abuse and they're still straight). Your sexual identity has been shown by more than one study to be determined by pre-natal factors, meaning by the time a baby's born, it's pretty much set.

Not that it matters much, just in case anyone entertains any false idea that if there would be no more rape and molestation, there would be no more homosexuality. Of course there would be. And there'd also be a lot less screwed up and hurt people in the world.

I dont want to talk in gereral terms, and normally i wouldnt, but i must say that the attitude the majoirty of americans have regarding gay men is absurd.
Odd that, considering the going's on in american prison's.
Male rape in UK prisons isnt as rife as it is in america's jails.
Also, check out the mafia, they've had quite a few gay members, Sammy The Bull for instance.
Perhaps we should refer to the USA as THE UNITED STATES OF NARNIA.
