I watched this movie only because of Jimmy Fallon

I watched this movie because of Fallon back in high school (2009). I'm a huge fan of his Late Night show (when it was still new and I only occasionally watch his channel on youtube at the present). I bought the DVD and...well....it was okay..but I'm just being polite.

I was disappointed that the movie is more about when he was younger so needlessly to say, he wasn't that much on screen. However the child actor was wonderful!

And although I praise Fallon's brief turn to dark drama (watching him trashing his dad's house was enjoyable), the movie was rushed and lacking that I really didn't much care for the characters. And, alas, he's not very good in dramatic acting. At least he's in comedy late night, where he truly belongs.

Thank God for Sharon Stone (who plays Fallon's mom here, Ileana Douglas (who plays the Dad's second wife) and Tony Hale (who plays Fallon's childhood friend), three of them add quirkiness and optimism in this very bleak movie.

Funny how I didn't realize that that was Buster Bluth having drinks with Jimmy in one scene and then went on "making dollars fly" at the strippers (ugh..)
