Let's worry about the suffering of people who were born here, shall we? The impoverished & neglected citizens of our country need our attention first. Let's help them, then let's move on to the illegal immigrants, shall we? People are homeless & get *beep* educations because they're poor. What about them?

When you say "illegals" do you mean your ancestors who came to America and raped and pillaged their way across the continent? Or are you First Nations/"Indian"?

We have blood on our hands for sure. But think about what this country and the world would be like if it wasn't for my european ancestors. No electricity, cures for diseases, cars, planes, television, internet etc etc

Get off your high horse, bootblack. There are millions of Americans whose ancestors came into this country legally and didn't rape and pillage. They didn't break any laws and worked hard to earn their citizenships. Many of whom are disgusted by people coming into this country illegally, and are also disgusted with politicians, Republican and Democrat, who have granted amnesty for millions of illegals, who DON'T have to earn it. They had it handed to them.

Our government and corporations are the ones causing them to come here, because they exploit the resources of their country, just so that we have the cheapest and newest shoes, iphones etc... (in reality we only get what the rich kick down to us, but it's an illusion that works really well) This creates and inflation, on top of that out government support dictators and other brutal regimes who allow access to these resources.

Spread the truth with knowledge.

Can we worry about both of these things? I have the ability to empathize with many different groups and I don't see the need to limit myself to just one.

Why do we have to prioritize? Why can't we care about both, equally? I didn't realise there was such a thing as an 'empathy quota'... 


