I'm not gay I just think that it wasn't necessary. I mean was it really important to see the Aussie womans' tits all the time. At first I'm like "ah yeah!" but then I realized I was getting more horny than informed.

I also think it was ironic that the middle eastern sister was brutally murdered for displaying her body in public by wearing low cut shirts, and then the actress being flat out naked on film. That being said it's like "Yeah we understand that the display of certain body parts are offensive to certain people in the world, and we're trying to be informative and sensitive at the same time. So let's bend this lady over on the bed and have her taking a cock from behind in this next shot" Good job guys I really think I get the point, it's a big *beep* you (literally) to their religion and beliefs. But, as a westerner I think she had a fantastic body, it was like living art. Thank You.

Well said. But, I didn't think of it as an "Ewwwww" thing. I just meant that nudity like that had little impact on the plot, so therefore it was there for the sake of arousal and not an important part of the story. When I think of a movie with nudity in it that was important to the plot, I think of "Shindlers' List".

As for myself. I am Canadian. It's like an American but without a gun :)
I also think porn is a gift from God to man. Just don't tell my wife.

Wow, that made me laugh out loud. Now I would have thought seeing Jim Sturgess nude would have been a gift from God.....but NOOOOOO its always chicks and tits. One thing I thought was different about this film was it was just Alice Eve sitting around nude. That doesn't bother me as much as sex scenes. Watching something like 'The Reader' or 'Knocked Up' is more crass in my mind than this film with people discussing things naked in a motel post-coitus. But I have read that most of the 'sex' scenes were cut.

I think you're making up that stereotype. I don't know anyone who goes "eeewww" when there's nudity. Plus, the OP didn't say anything about that. On the contrary he said it was arousing and the body was beautiful.
I can guess why American audiences are uptight while also watching a lot of porn (if that is true): religion. More specifically, Christianity.

I think it added a little realism...I fi remember correctly wasnt maria bello also shirtless in the motel room after her character had sex with macey's in the cooler? and btw I also thought it was like livin art..she was pretty close to perfect not gonna lie

There should be a law against people being nude and boffing on the big screen who look like they're over 40.

LOL. Yeah, America is pretty much a collection of people that want you to think they are perfect then sneak around and watch porn, gamble, drink, and smoke weed when nobody is looking. Then they are embarrassed when they see these things on film, but yet if they were alone they would turn up the volume and maybe even replay all the naked parts because they had deprived themselves so much they need to get twice as dirty now.

This is a pretty random comment to make about America when the OP already admitted he was Canadian. I myself don't know a single person that would be offended by some people f_cking in a movie. As for sneaking around, I think the only sneaking around that is done is when something is illegal and they don't want to go to jail for doing it.

I don't think people get how damned big the states are. We probably have like maybe 10 types of people. Maybe even 12. That's why it often seems like we are schizo. It's kind of in our nature to take both sides on an issue with the pendulum of support one way or another any given year.

It was pointless to have her tits in EVERY shot. After awhile it got too obvious. I'm a girl, so I thought it got crass after awhile. In the beginning, yeah I get it, she's just had sex. But every other shot? C'mon...

Maybe I should start a new thread on this but I thought the movie should not have had any nudity. I am an atheist but feel the nudity was put in there purposely to keep muslims from watching it or to offend them. Weinstein took care of his "Jews" in this film and made the muslims the villains (and the Koreans). Not sure if Weinstein made this pro-semite on purpose but after watching it a second time it's hard not to over analyze it.

If the muslim arc was dropped, sure I would have welcomed the nudity.

Ray Liotta must of begged to be in those scenes.... is his skin melting? Did you see his gut hanging when he was arrested... YIKES!!!!

And yeah... Khazae was amazing looking... had that Persian Goth thing going. SCHWING!!!!
