Twin Galaxies comes off looking bad

Hmmm... So when Steve sends in a tape of his high score a couple of Twin Galaxies guys have to basically invade Steve's garage to "inspect" his Donkey Kong machine (to ensure fairness), but right after Steve publicly breaks Billy's record on Funspot's machine Twin Galaxies accepts a newly-produced, glitchy tape- and immediately post the supposed score on their website..?

SHADY!

Billy is known to Twin Galaxies, therefore they will be more loose with him. I'm not saying its right, but Walter Day obviously loves Billy.

I think it was very disrespectful what they did.

Steve was an unknown whose first score he submits is the all time high score. They're skeptical it's legit and go to such lengths to prove or disprove weather it's legit or not.

Steve then flies across the country to prove how good he is on one of their machines and breaks the high score right in front of an audience.

This is a huge accomplishment. There's a lot of luck involved in playing Donkey Kong and to get the high score you have to basically have a perfect game. To do it on one of their machines over a weekend is insane.

Then Billy submits a videotape score, who knows how long he's been sitting on it, and they immideately reward him the high score.

They really should have 2 high scores, live and sent in video tapes. Insanely unfair that Steve is forced to set the score live when Billy can send in a tape of a score he's been sitting on for a year and a half.

Twin Galaxies has since been proven to be a corrupt old boys club. Mitchell has been proven to be a fraud and he's not the only one to have had high scores that were pretty suspect.
