That's right. If you want to import illegal drugs into any country, try the United States. They won't stop you.

Yea, ur right. As much as I complain about US drug policy, they're actually pretty lax here, especially in California. I have my medical cannabis card and I don't worry about getting busted, but others aren't so lucky. But, I'm not content with just covering my ass when it comes to local cops, I still want to fight for the decriminalization of marijuana entirely, nationally and globally.

I believe the real fight will begin when California decriminalizes/legalizes ganja across the board for the state, because it will be a direct conflict with federal law. People will grow it freely in Cali, not just medical cannabis, and the DEA will try to muscle in. Then we can go to war with the DEA. That will be so much fun. I've always wanted to kill cops, ESPECIALLY DEA!!!

Yes I agree..lots of other places to visit on this planet. There are 2 excellent films made about this same situation. Broke Down Palace and Return to Paradise. I suggest anyone interested in this case and its resulting 20 year sentence should watch both of them. This unfortunate woman is lucky to still be alive in Indonesia. Their laws regarding drugs are totally ridiculous and way over the line. It's a Muslim country..what do you expect!!??
