A new low for LDS film...


Seriously...when will people just quit making LDS films? This 'genre' just absolutely sucks and has gone straight downhill.

Did you watch the movie? It's opening today, (Friday) and you posted on Wednesday. how can you judge it without seeing it. I'm going to watch it tonight, then I'll give an opinion.

I just saw the movie and I am not a big fan of a lot of the LDS films that are made, but there are a few that are way good and I have to say that this one is one of them. I thought it was very well done and I loved it. I have to admit that some of the films in this 'genre' are not the best but I there are some that are very well done. We shouldn't judge the whole genre on a few films. Expecially when you haven't even s

I saw the movie and I really liked it. It had a great message. I thought it was better than some of the LDS movies I've seen. (not that the LDS movies are bad) I agree why judge all LDS movies? I mean, why not give them a chance. Back to Beauty and the Beast. The characters were really good. I thought Summer and Matthew did a very nice job. They had good on screen chemistry. Mattehew Bellows was hilarious. When we were at the theatre, he got a lot of reaction to the way he played Craig. All around I think it was a decent movie, and I hope that it does well.

EDIT: Oops! There's some confusion here because Mr. Bishop is in TWO versions of this film that were released the same year! I thought this was the page for "Belle and the Beast: A Christian Romance"; there still must not be one for that movie.

So, maybe "Beauty and the Beast" is far different from what this version is.
