Stupid people in stupid movie...

Ok, supposedly this is 2 years after everything went to *beep* right? And yet this is the first time they have really been attacked? Wouldn't persoanlly security be one of the first things to consider if violence has become the norm? They talked about everybody killing everybody else off and yet they never consider that keeping themselves safe might be a good idea? I agree too with a previous poster. Where are the weapons? If you can't find any then wouldn't you at least try to make improvised weapontry to protect yourself? In the event of anarchy defense should be your first concern. What good is clean water and food if you leave yourself open to every savage cannibal who comes knocking? These people proved thy were beyond stupid. There is no way in hell they could have survived this long without common sense. They would have been the first batch to die off. Like I said stupid movie with stupid people. Lazy writting and characters no one cares about make this one a serious chore to sit through.
