Did the grandma die or something?

At the end, when it shows the grandma get married by that soldier from WW2, they just get married in front of Roxy, and they both (Soldier, and Grandma) just dissaper. Then, it's the credits. Did the grandma die? Help me out here please.

Thats what I was guessing, when she saw her love at the door of her bedroom, I assumed maybe she was nearing death to see his ghost.
Then possibly she died and her spirit married him in the afterlife...
