Above Average, Way Above!!!

While I did think the CGI was a little cheap I thought the filmmakers did an amazing job for a somewhat low budget film. This is not your typical horror film and it did a great job in keeping me on the edge of my seat. This was not at all a waste of my time and I can't wait to see it again. I also loved what the three main actors did with their roles and the lead who played Danny was fantastic. I thought he carried this film all the way to a fantastic ending. Great job to the director Mr. Malone.

It was awful, they could have done so much more with the script, instead they chose to get crummy actors, cheap cgi and overall suckiness all around.

I agree with lobouivante - nothing special to find here. And I can't believe people think the Danny guy could act at all. He was the worst in this movie, which was full of pretty bad acting.

William Malone seems to have a unique and creative vision but it never really succeeds in the screen. I was bored with this one and it's actors. That CGI was awful, etc.

I thought it was extremely enjoyable and had a few surprises. I wasn't that crazy about the guy who played Danny though, but for what it was, it was totally fun.

I really dug the gothic fairytale atmosphere of the movie. a truly creepy villain and a damsel in distress I cared about. I agree Malone's films are for an acquired taste. (I also enjoyed "Feardotcom" which alot of people hated.)

Agreed - Way above average movie. I kinda had low expectations so that might have influenced my scoring of this movie but I was very pleasantly surprised.
It probably would have been ok to cast somebody else as danny though...

...and it saddens me.

Ewwwwww. Seriously, I love almost all horror movies no matter how bad they are and came here to find answers to questions that make no sense at all to me.

Does no one see the cliche's? Loved how the movie started, but the acting was bad, the doctors and nurses were all cliche'd (and the plot hole of the bad sleep doctor to cover the plot hole of why Danny had to get sleeping beauty out of there was just lame and nothing ever came of it). What about the visit to the bookstore? What was the point of that. Where were they at the end? How'd she learn to walk and use her vocal chords and eat I could just go on and on, but I still want to at least see if people have some idea of why a couple things happened the way they did.

It was good. I just wish Kathryn Leigh Scott would've gotten more time onscreen because she is one of my favorite actresses but other than that I can't find much to complain about. I was a bit hesitant to watch the film because the plot summary didn't sound like something I'd normally be interested in. I thought it would be too scientific (sort of like an exposé on sleeping disorders on the guise of a horror movie) but I was pleased to find it was more dreamlike and didn't regret watching it at all.
