AWESOME show.

This season seems to have some decent reality shows - I don't usually follow these things, but this show and the "Grease" one have already caught my eye.

Nothin' like seeing Wee Man kick some ass. :-)

reply

Gotta love Wee Man! And true, Grease does look interesting.

Disagree on both counts. I found Wee Man very annoying. He is a huge tool. When he did his "Oh my god we're cops! Ha ha ha ha!" I wanted to slap him.

I was surprised by how much I didn't dislike LaToya Jackson, though.

reply

Actually I've heard from a direct friend that met LaToya that she is very nice. Plus, I was proud of her when she saw the second guy in the house and used authority with him. The other police hadn't seen him since they were securing the bigger guy. She told her brother on the phone that she wanted to surprise everyone since they didn't think she was able to do those kinds of things. I thought she did a good job.

No, we don't have alot of crackheads. That was just a bust because an undercover bought drugs from that woman. They're not going to show someone needing help changing their tire or something boring like that of course. They were in the Muncie "hood" in the episode last night. Every city this size has a bad area. LOL Even though people in the paper CONSTANTLY claim that's not a bad area. Yeah right. I agree with Jack Osbourne. I lock my doors in those areas! The producer promised you'd see the better side of Muncie too so I hope he keeps his word!

reply

Yeah, I was surprised to see Latoya act so authoritarian there.

I think they can bust up some college parties at Ball State University and give out tickets to underage drinkers. I know it sucks for the college kids (or high school locals) but that would be pretty funny. At least it would be showing a decent side of Muncie.

reply

I agree--it was great. A big surprise. I'll keep watching.

reply

I agree. From what I just saw,it's better than COPS. 5 celebrities as real-life cops, what will they think of next?

This show is awesome

The show was pretty good, but I hope they show some of the better areas of Muncie. I worry about people thinking we are nothing, but a bunch of hicks.

EMME30, I understand your concern, but unless some major crimes happen in "nicer" neighborhoods they really don't have any reason to show than side of Muncie. BTW, you folks appear to have a lot of crackheads.

reply

UG! We don't have a lot of crackheads.

No, this show will do nothing but show Muncie as drug-infested or crime-filled. It's not like that at all, but since they're following the police around, that's all anyone will see.

They don't exactly call the cops because a school scored well on the ISTEPS now do they? If they did...maybe we'd be look a tad better.

My husband and I watched this last night and we were immediately hooked. We are gonna keep watching as long as they continue airing it! Excellent show!!!!

reply

I love the show as well. It's just what I need to get a good laugh after a hard day at work.

reply

I thought it was much better than anticipated, too. Almost everything I had heard was bad, but I thought I'd give it a shot anyway and was pleasantly surprised. Can't wait to see tonights.
