TV sucks today...

No moral boundaries, no stories, no actors, no ethics and especially no dignity. What happened from 1950 to 2007? Makes me sick so much I refuse to support anything on television today, and I'm only in my 30's. This was one show I thought was overall morally good show with diversity, and they cancel it....why? No nudity, no sex, no major violence, nothing to sell out. Well the new generations of TV broadcasters can sell all this "literal trash" to most viewers who like throwing money away on it, but not in my family....good riddance CBS.

What are you paying for? To watch advertisements......
You pay for cable bill every month, then you pay for the advertisements, you waste your time watching the advertisements, you then are forced to watch advertisements during your favorite show right over your show,....(who thought this was a good idea? Mr. Greed himself?).....and to top it off, you have to watch infomercials after a certain time of day! How much money do these people need? Pretty soon you won't have any shows, just advertisements forced on you 24/7......I ask you, what are you paying for?

Imagine how many of your favorite TV shows and series you could own today instead of paying for that hefty cable bill?,... you could even buy a 500 disc DVD changer, and create your own TV station of all your favorite shows running 24/7, they are all brought to DVD now and the internet.

Now to save them greedy bastards even more money, they point the cameras at all you naive wannabe stars, and call it reality television,... so they have to pay no actors, writers, major sets, or directors,.... they must be making 90% profits from all this misleading and what should be illegal sales marketing tactics.

I hope they crumble some day, and if enough people see things as I do, they will....I say good riddance to the cable pigs who think your doing them a favor by taking your money,... nothing but trash on top of garbage,....I wouldn't own cable again if someone else paid for. I now own all my favorite shows, anytime I want to see them, and it's also an investment in itself maintaining money, not losing it.

I couldn't agree with you more, and I'm only 22. Here in Argentina we've received "new" series from USA, and really good ones BTW, but I've recently learnt that they have been cancelled there. Why? Because they are not reality tv shows, which really makes me mad. Maybe I'm wrong, but I've been reading a lot of messages from this website about series such as Justice or What about BRian and the majority feel the same way as I do. It's the shame. Americans have all the resources to make great tv programmes (such as CSI, Desperate Housewives) but apparently some people don't see some of the new series's potential.
