Pedophilia vs homosexuality...

Many posts here talk about father Flynn being gay. Being gay and being a pedophile are not the same thing! This is a common Misunderstanding. A lot of pedophiles have sex with boys (instead of girls) for many different reasons.. Girls talk more, accessibility.. Etc. A man who wants to have sex with a child... Regardless of gender is a pedophile. Confusing conscenting adults with vulnerable children being taken advantage of is terrible. I am a lesbian.. A survivor of pedophilia. My brother (also a pedophile victim) has a gay son. When his son came out my brother and I talked about it. My brother said he was disgusted, it reminded him of the abuse he suffered as a young boy by an adult male. I had to explain to my brother that his son was NOT a pedophile.. He was a gay man. Young people can not consent to sex with an adult.. It is never right. All Harry man are not pedophiles and all pedophiles are not gay. This is so important to distinguish. It is on to be homosexual.. It is NOT ok for an adult to have sex with a child.
Sorry for the rant but this hit a nerve and it's a very important distinction.
