Are we discussing the same movie?

I thought it was cheap, cheesy, poorly written, not that original, and dull. I LOVE horror movies, but this did not do a thing for me. Too boot, the acting was awful (even for a B-rated horror). To whomever thought it was great, give whatever you were taking when watched this. ;)
Actually, I take that back. I would never want to think this film was fascinating.
Out of curiosity, to those who did enjoy it: what other horror movies do you like? What kind of horror genre would you consider this?

To me it wasn't a horror film per say. Most are bankrupt of ideas and anything resembling real characters. Usually the characters in horror films are simply "types" and just there to be devoured.

"Left For Dead" was wonderfully dense with a real story and very complicated characters and complex relationships. I thought the star, Victoria Maurette, was so much better than the screaming, bikini or t shirt clad females you see who rarely have any back story or unique characterization.

My favorite horror films are "The Exorcist", "A Clockwork Orange" and "The Thing" Carpenter version. Worst horror movies I've seen recently are "Cloverfield" and any of the Saw films. Both Hostels were dreadful and the worst film I've ever seen was the Rob Zombie version of Halloween.

I appreciated the writer and director's attempt, but the final product was, egh, not good. It's all a matter of opinion I guess. I did like the lead actress and her character, but the overall acting of the entire cast was comical.
I love all the movies you listed as your favorites. I never considered Clockwork Orange as horror film though. As far the "worst" horror films, they weren't my favorites, but I enjoyed them more than this one.
