Divided audience

It's the type of film that will have detractors and supporters. But that's good because so many films are too pedestrian and mimic other films. Good or bad, right or wrong, the filmmakers tried to do something different and with a different way of telling the story. Some of the edit was overdone but I found a beauty to many of the frozen moments. It provoked me to consider what was beneath the surface of the character in the moment.

Many films like this take time to be appreciated. Zabriske Point, Detour and Holy Mountain being just three examples. Time will tell.
