Not that bad, good enough to fold clothes by

All right, a lot of the acting is pretty bad, no real tears, pauses in delivering lines, sometimes right in the middle of a line, exaggerated deliveries and actions, sometimes too little emotion, sometimes too much so the directing is pretty sucky too, but the story isn't half bad. It does look like they grabbed pieces of stories from other movies and tv series, but is there anything new to be done?

I am not quite halfway through and they already surprised me with the turn it took and I am pleased with it. When I first started watching it I thought that it was just going to be a low budget version of "Pandorum", but it isn't, not quite. Then I saw the silver boots and short dresses on the crew of the ship that sent the distress signal and I had a "Star Trek" flashback and had a little moan. I love the original "Star Trek" series, but some things from the sixties should stay buried and those silver boots are definitely one of them.

Okay almost to the end. Some of the lines are pretty hoakey and cliche', but really, this isn't that bad. I like that the main characters are women. I am glad to see women portrayed as physically strong. I watched it while I was folding clothes so not a big waist of time for me. I definiely think the writer has some potential. Actually, everyone involved has potential. You never get good at anything without practice and I think this was definitely good practice. Hate, hate, hate those siver boots!!
