The look of the infected look a hell of alot like the possessed people in Dario Argentos Demons.....Sorry if I misspelled his name. Also the music in this movie was very similar also! They just set it in space instead of a movie theater....lol

shareYes, throughout the movie I couldn't stop thinking of Demons. The organ-esque music and clearly demonized creatures were ideas from Lamberto Bava's movie. The obvious connections almost made it a cheesy fun fest. Almost! Maybe it's because Demons is my favorite guilty pleasure.
shareI was thinking the same thing as well, did the writes watch Lamberto Bava's demons and decided to write a remake for it but instead of calling it demons 3 or demons 5 or demons 20 or demon's in space or whatever sequel that is non cannon with the first two movies and called it Plaguers
