A few questions about this movie...

Cherie I am a longtime fan since Punky Brewster and Family Matters so just hear me out. My wife and I watched this movie is disbelief on how bad it was. 1st going into a coma was a good start but for the doctor to say they are going to cut off your life support because you ran out of money and the "HUSBAND" to act like 'oh well' was just wrong. 2nd for everyone including close friends and "HUSBAND" to think you were dead without a funeral and a best friend still visiting you everyday is unbelievable. 3rd in the time span of 1 year this "HUSBAND" was able to find another woman, get her pregnant and marry her after losing his Best Friend is unbelievable. 4th for you to wake up from a coma and not even shed a tear about you dad passing while you were in a coma is unbelievable, also your friend let you come out of that hospital with the still blood stained wedding dress on....WOW! 5th the anger was understandable, this was pure betrayal, but wouldn't you want to go stay with your friend before your "HUSBAND" and his new wife. 6th you were Extremely HOT in some of these scenes (Thank you for that, it made me keep watching) but would you want this "HUSBAND" who was so quick to leave you. 7th what you were doing to this expecting wife was horrible, I was expecting this movie to turn into a 'Hand that rocks the cradle' twist. 8th the 'White Woman' aspect was not nessasary or needed. I don't want be picky but... man I had a hard time making it through this one. Can't wait for the next one.

PS. You are really Hot in your scenes! Just had to say it again. Forgive some of the misspellings.

I agree with everything you said. I watched this last night on BET and I was shocked and appalled at Vivian; trying to manipulate Jenny, telling a bunch of lies(I HATE LIARS), and making her take long walks while pregnant? Trying to harm the baby? All the while sleeping with her man? I was utterly disgusted. Am I alone?

This movie was down right dispicable! I just watched and CO with you guys...

I agree with you all. I also take umbridge with the person posting that we are all haters since it got better reviews on Amazon. Amazon is tring to sell a product that is promoted by positive reviews. I am not saying they are not honest, but here people watch movies and have their opinions evaluated by people who also watch movies for entertainment purposes. We are not haters just observers who all thought the same thing.

Sorry, Cherie. Much respect to your work as an actress (LOVED your 'Maxine' character on Family Matters!) but this movie plot was just not believable and the character development was horrible.

However, much success to you in your future endeavors! I'll look for more work from you in the future.

R. Kelly's In the closet made more sense than this crap :(

My wife and I watched this movie last night. We both felt it was a waste of our time.

What annoyed me the most was the character shifts. First, the faithful husband becomes the dog; the well-balanced first wife becomes a deceitful/gold digging woman; lastly, the kind hearted/understanding second wife becomes this naive little girl.

I should have continued my work from home instead of taking a break to watch this film.

Perhaps all those points were intended to be -- FUNNY. What a pity!

If it was supposed to be funny, It missed.

Thank god I'm not the only person who realized this movie's plot line was completely unrealistic, unbelievable and just plain stupid.

OMG what idiots! It's a fricking movie, if you are trying to make sense out of a MOVIE than I guess that makes you the real losers. It's fantasyland and meant to be entertaining, why do people try to make sense of every black movie that comes out. Like everything we put out has to be realistic, but yet white people can put out all kinds of escapist, unrealistic, make no sense drivel they want and it's critically acclaimed. Shut the fucc up and just watch or don't watch the damn movie and take it for waht it is, shyt!

You're either the lead actress b!tch in this tragedy who used to date Waldo Geraldo Faldo in "Family Matters," or the other retarded writer of this crap.

You should shut the f^@% up you dumb broad. People can watch what they want, when they want and they don't have to like it every time. Who the f^@% are you? Stalin?!

Your dumba$$ don't even know the difference between genres. There are films meant to be fantasies, escapist, and unrealistic (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, It's a Wonderful Life, Batman, Undercover Brother, I'm Gonna Get You Sucka) then there is this steaming pile, which didn't know if it wanted to be a comedy or a drama. Either way, it did a terrible job of making me escape as it reminded me how racist and ungrateful black people can be in real life. So, it fails as an escapist type film in my book, as well as a movie about love, loss, resurrection, revenge plot, etc. An epic fail by EPIC IDIOTS.

It is just an opinion. We all saw the movie and we all could not believe the story. This was not 'Batman', 'Aliens' or 'The Terminator'. This was a movie based in reality so we all took a realistic approach when reviewing it. Being a black movie had nothing to do with the the words chosen to describe our dislike for the movie, it was just us explaining our issues with the movie.
