LILY ALLEN!!!
This is awesome! She's going to appear on a world-televised concert! I couldn't describe to you how happy I was when I found this out.
Now if only she'd be on Live Earth...
Yeah and she actualy sang the phrase "It's a Pimp and his Crack Whore" during her song "LND". Wonder if that made it past the censors on NBC's staggered USA feed?

shareI know this because I'm from the US and watched it myself. I'd never heard any of her songs prior to this- I'd only read a few tabloid quips about her having problems with paparazzi. Her performance was aired here in the US, though and I really liked the two songs of hers that I heard.

My understanding was that VH1 took it "live" (ie showed the odd song, or bit of song, between VJ banter and commercials, a-la Live 8), while NBC aired the whole show but staggered it by 5-6 hours for better viewing figures.
