But The Mighty B is a genius show, and the style of animation is a lot like John K's style of animation which of course is what cartoons are supposed to look like. It's disgusting and different which I appreciate fully and hopefully we'll see more shows like this.
shareI don't understand the hate either. I stumbled upon this show recently and it's hilarious. Funny, energetic, and highly watchable. I guess people are annoyed by some of the voice work (Portia's voice can be annoying at times).

shareI, too, am perplexed by the hate on this show. It has awesome animation, design, background, art direction, etc, and is a lot like classic Spumco work! A breath of fresh air from the crass programming prevalent on TV these days. So I find it rather sad. But I'm glad it stuck to its guns enough to stick around for a second season!
Maybe they're upset because this show is not SPONGEBOB or AVATAR.
SPONGEBOB is just okay to me, but it's not my cup of tea. It's also not the Center of the Universe (like RUGRATS used to be).
I'm not a fan of AVATAR, but I respect it for ending gracefully. Leave it alone!
REN & STIMPY is still the King of Nicktoons for me, and THE MIGHTY B! hearkens back to the energy and style of that show! Definitely the best Nicktoon since REN & STIMPY.
I actually love the Mighty B ! I love the characters, the animation, background, design, the whole nine yards.
I personally, dont understand the hate at all.. Today, I dont really see shows with much animation like the Mighty B !.
As far as SpongeBob and Avatar goes, Spongebob has been downhill lately and alot of people have been complaining about it, and Avatar I never really watched to begin with because I am not really big fan of anime anyways. It was a decent show, but it just never appealed to me.
I have different reasons for not liking this show.
1. I find the main character extremely annoying.
2. The villians are too cruel and generic.
3. The art layout is not always consistent (I prefer consistency with shows).
This is just my viewpint though. I might give it a second chance one day.
