Will there be a 2nd series of this show?

Hopefully and i think so.

The BBC know to stick at what JS writes. Thank God

Any word on a new season's run or new episodes? I thought this show was extremely biting and well done. It would be great to have a season that paralleled the collapse of the British and global economies.

I've seen on wikipedia that there is meant to be a second series, but it seems to be taking its time to happen isn't it? I hope it does, I think it was absolutely outstanding. It's a shame Jennifer Saunders upsets people if she's not gurning and playing the clown. She's an incredible writer and VV was oustanding.

On the BBC website for Vivienne Vyle is no longer being updated. I would take that as a no for a second series, which is too bad because it was one of my favorites.

I agree that a second series would be amazing if it could happen. I hate the idea that six episodes is all we'll get. It was incredible, dark, satirical, emotive, and funny. There are people that only enjoy Jennifer when she's flapping around. Intelligent comedy seems to draw a blank with people...which is so upsetting. Please please lets have a series two!
