Any plans for a US release?

I was wondering if anyone knew for sure. It looks funny as hell and it's got that low tech, slightly cheesy, charm that I liked in Team America and Robot Chicken.

I'd love to see this here in Canada. Hopefully there'll be a region 1 DVD someday. I bought the soundtrack to the movie, and it's just excellent. I highly reccommend it if you like the music from WWII action/adventure movies like Bridge on the River Kwai or The Great Escape.

If you only care about the puppetry and what not, yeah, you might like it. If you expect it to be funny like either Team America or Robot Chicken though, I think you'll be hugely disappointed. I was, lol. Most of the attempts at humor just fell flat on their face. There are a few funny things here and there that got a smile out of me, but overall it was boring as hell compared to Team America.

As far as a US release, I'm here and I saw it, but I guess I shouldn't say how, lol. The only thing I found online gives a July release for the DVD.
