Terribly disappointed

When I saw the title, I assumed it was going to be about the Thatcher administration.

That would have been much funnier than this movie. Post modern comic allusions here (Lethal Weapon, etc) are uneven and haphazard at best. At least, I laughed about four times though. According to Mark Kermode, you need five laughs to have a decent comedy. What makes me wonder most is how this amateurish production got a hold of an array of such topnotch A-list talents to do voices. Ewan McGregor, Tom Wilkinson, Richard E. Grant, Alan Cumming, Timothy Spall, Rosamund Pike, Dominic West, Richard Griffiths, Sanjeev Bhaskar... and Stephen “Oi Lanky!” Merchant for good measure!? They must have promised them a Pixar caliber animation.

I loved it except for the Braveheart stuff. I expected the Scotsmen to be very exaggerated, barbaric figures when they found them, but not quite like that. More like ultra-violent versions of Groundskeeper Willie.
