That was an amazing interview! Ugh I miss this show so much
- Glenn's story about auditioning for American Gigolo, which I didn't know, was pretty funny lol. Her thoughts on Patty were exactly what I thought as well, she is a modern tragic figure. It just makes me wonder how similar, at some points, Damages is like a play (the scene at the airport, the hotel room in season 2 etc) and that last scene was like a requiem. Even though there was no music or anything going on, like Jenna said, there was so much force and emotion being released by Glenn Close in the final scene. It was great. The whole interview just made me realize what a great cast they had for this final season.
Yes, it's obvious that Glenn had affection for Patty, her damaged character, and affirmed Patty's strength without justifying her behavior.
