When Simon tries to convince Herreshoff & Torben that he can testify for Patty without implicating them, he gets a 'thumbs-down'. After he leaves, he immediately gets on his phone to attempt booking a flight out of the country. He obviously knows he's in danger, that his pleas haven't succeeded. So why not just -tell- the guys that he's willing to immediately leave the country?
