It's a bit different from the Supernatural ep in that the episode was about the scarecrow in an orchard (not a corn field) being the monster and couples were being sacrificed to it, so it was more like The Wicker Man than, say, Children of the Corn (I don't know if there ever really was more than delusion in the sacrifices in CotC). But I can sort of see how this might appear to be ripped off from the episode's approach in that a character is trapped in the town because her car breaks down (as in the episode).

Nice to see Hudson Leick again, but I wish she'd get better work post-Xena. She's a good actress. The lead (Jaime?) is a bit blah.
