So what happens at the end? *SPOILERS*
They deliberately left it open-ended (or not). Ming gives birth, and Chen writes a letter to his daughter. At the end, I get the impression they're still together, and as they agreed, Fitz would have no contact with the child.
I don't know. I found it kind of cliche - the idea that all this sound and fury was done all for a child. Just nothing ground-breaking. And the ending was a little underwhelming.
I'm not expecting that Ming leaves her husband for Fitz - a childish dream/first love. Too many movies do that. So I give them credit for that. However, but what? Would Chen ever be that honest with his daugher telling her all (ALL) the events that transpired? I doubt it.
Anyway, for the few people who frequent this board:
1. Did you like the ending? Why/Why not?
2. Would you like to have changed the ending? How?
