the things that annoys me with Peter Chan's Directing

First of all I love this movie that's why I gave a shxt about it and watched over n over again.

But there are few spots that i think were not excuted accurately,

1-Jet Li's Pang QingYun's crying scene, when he was ordered killing of Zhao Erhu (andy lau). It was great performance and very powerful scene, only (if i may suggest) his character shouldn't be crying like that. I can't blame jet li for doing this, it was clearly Chan's signature.

2-Andy Lau's crying scene at restaurant, when watching opera. A bandit at that position, having gone through all that *beep* crying at public is bit off for me. just think... he would be very sad, but to a point crying in front of those respect him or fear him?

3-Jet li orders the killing of surrendered soldiers, those who were killing were crying too hard. This is a powerful scene, but then i think again, why would they cry? they were not friends, they've been trying to killing each other for months, and lot's of their own men been killed by those enemies, it doesn't make sense for them to cry hard over killing their enemies. This should be more like what Andy Lau's character should feel like, not soldier's.

those 3 points are the only things that annoys me in the film.

they were beautifully shot, very dramatic, and I could understand it if you explain it as a cinema languege used by director Peter Chan, showing what HE IS FEELING, but those expressions sometimes doesn't belong to that character, Chan's potray is bit too romantic.

however i can live with that, it's still a great movie, love it.
