jet li still smokes alot of cigarettes. most chinese do unfortunatly well i won;t say most i take that back. just alot in the film inudustry. jet doesn;t train anymore so i guess he figured he could smoke all he wants.

i think the picture may be taken on a movie set, so he's probly doing it for the character. i also heard that often times herbal cigarettes are used as substitutes, so he could just have one of those, lol. I don't think Jet Li smokes in real life.

There are many countries in the world whose attitude to smoking isn't as serious or health conscious as we are in the west..in China..like Romania..smoking is practically obligatory for everyone.

Spitting is also very common in China whereas in the west it's fround upon (quite rightly) as a filthy habit but it's perfectly acceptable in China. Dang Xiou Ping even spat in front of the Queen!!
