Did the Palestinians really 'elect' hamas?

Alan Dershowitz can not think diplomatically, rationally, or clearly, in his angry biased opinion of the Palestinian people. His choice of words, "cock roaches", in which he back peddles immediately. I was raised catholic, ( I will not show this religion, or any other with the proper use of a capital ), my father is jewish. This man trying to intellectualize his overt bigotry, is the problem that impedes the solution.
