Don't understand why you would make a Jimmy Carter Movie

He was a terrible president. I just don't get it.

That may be true, I dont know enough about his presidency to judge. However I do know that he is a genuine human being. If I could go back in time and vote in the 1980 election, I probably would have voted for Reagan, because he is one of my heroes, but that dosent mean I condemn Jimmy Carter by any means.

Jimmy Carter is perhaps the most active former president in history. It shows that his goals for peace while in office were genuine concerns of his, and not just ploys to be re-elected.

If he is a good president or not, it makes no difference on him as a person. He is a great man. He is not afraid to speak out about what he believes, and he has always fought for what he believes. His goal is peace. His weapons are negotiation and free speech. No man has ever given peace such a fighting chance, simply by being the mediatior, with such pleasing results as Jimmy Carter.

Voting for Reagan if you could would be like going back and voting for gwb. You would have to be an idiot to do so.

You must be one of those closed minded individuals who think that all republicans are evil/selfish.

Then let's make a documentary about a lying, Psycho Christian President like GWB and his war profiteering VP, who falsified Intel with the help of Israel over America special interest groups and Think Tanks (PNAC), to get an unwarranted invasion against a nation that never attacked us and posed no threat to us. And then called anyone who spoke out against this BS "Intel" a "terrorist supporter." And then passed regulations to spy on Americans. And instilled fear via Code Orange and Code Red in good American people. I still believe there are many unanswered questions about the WTC and Pentagon attacks....how about a documentary on that? Here is a well-made, truly fair and balanced (and not "fair and balanced" in the Faux News use of the term) documentary about an ex President and great diplomat and statesman, who has done more for fostering peace between Israel and its neighbors than the War President. We see footage in the film that we'd never see on American television.

I guess in the minds of some fanatical Israel over American Neocons out there, Oscar-winning director Jonathan Demme has become another Mel Gibson because he made this. There is no hope for you. Move to Israel, pick up a rifle, and fight fight fight if you are so in love with that nation, that can do no wrong, and anyone who calls out what they do (i.e. tell the truth), must be slapped with a label.

Dude means nice guy. Dude means a regular sort of person.
