The guy actually said that if he got a million people to sign a petition he'd stop making movies. Whether or not he'll actually keep his word on that is yet to be determined. Still, it's a step in the right direction. So do your part to keep this guy from degrading our video games.
Thanks for the link! I am about to go sign this, and I am going to tell everyone I know (and possibly people I don't know) to go sign this immediately. This man's spewing of abominations must end.
We better hurry. According to his IMDB page, he's got seven, SEVEN movies to be released in the next 3 years, with Bloodrayne 3 as one of them. I didn't even know there was a Bloodrayne 2.
I watched Postal not long ago, and that one was actually good. It surprised me bigtime. Boll himself had a cameo in it, wich ends with the creator of the Postal game shooting him in the crotch. Good fun. Not that I am a fan of Boll movies--they do actually suck pretty badly.
Leave the man alone. Sure he makes horrendously bad game tie-ins. But hey, there are a ton of other equally bad directors that have come and gone, and you can rest assured there will be a million more in the future.
As for his game movies. Face it, the latest Alone In The Dark is actually quite crap. Bloodrayne was a crap game, House of the Dead was umm yeah, Postal (need I say more?).
You can't lay all the blame on Uwe Boll. Look at most other game tie-ins. Mario Brothers, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Dead or Alive and Double Dragon. All of these films were utter crud and Uwe Boll had nothing to do with them.
NOW if you want to see a REAL BAD director, then check out Ulli Lommel's offerings from the past 3 years. They make Uwe Bolls worst films look like Oscar winning masterpieces!
I was a gamer when most of these people were nothing more than an itch in their old mans nether regions. Ahh the days of loading millions of floppys into the C-64 floppy drive (if you were lucky to have a floppy drive)just to play a game :)
I don't really care about god awful video game remakes, the good video game remakes will be sourced from actual GOOD video games which have something more than a one dimensional (or no dimensional) story.
As for B.T.K Killer the looping scenes would literally cause epileptic seizures and foaming from the mouth LOL
Why bother? Signing online petitions never accomplishes anything. Like he's gonna say, "Gee all these people don't like my movies. Guess I'll stop raking in money because all these people took the enormous effort to click on a website and type in their names."
Never gonna happen. Besides, looking at the description of this movie, he didn't have anything to do with it except as producer, which basically means he just paid to make it.

Producers don't usually give up money to help fund the film. What you're talking about is an Executive producer, whether it's studio money or their own that they're giving to the film. Producers do, however, help allocate such funds and help in the budget and overall filmmaking process. Often they try to get involved creatively. It's possible that Uwe Boll had little to do with Alone in the Dark II, he could've been a producer in name only. But I doubt it. He was most likely involved in the process, but it will remain to be seen on whether or not he was involved creatively.
There are things that are far worse than Uwe Boll. How about starting a petition to stop the sexist feminist Misandrist hate. The world will be a better place.
Feminism is a Marxist Hate Crime! Hell has a special place for Sexist Bigoted Feminists
i agree the guy should be banned from film making, however as much as i hated bloodrayne i kinda enjoyed bloodrayne 2,maybee it has nothing to do with dr.uwe as im a big michael pare' fan but his movies are *bleep*,house of the dead 1 and 2,bloodrayne,postal,in the name of the king, alone in the dark all sucked hard. this guy should be nuetered.
as i stated its his right to make them and my right to watch them however bad they might be,oh i might of mentioned that i may have enjoyed one or two along the way but overall the guy stilll should be "nuetered". this is a petetition to stop the evil DR.UWE ????at least i believe thats what the O.P. is asking oh and by the way F.Y.I....im just joking about the "nuetering"a simple early retirement would suffice. finnaly i watch whatever i want wheneever i want and if i like it i can praise it and if i dont i can trash talk it.
this is america at least the last time i checked"freedom of speech" and ones opionion would fall under my basic rights as a citizen.

The internet isn`t a country, technically (I am in Norway by the way). But of course, you can say whatever you wish, no problem there. My point is: If you hate his movies, why make an effort to sign a petiotion, instead of just avoid watching them alltogether? If nobody watches them, he won`t make money of them.
